IES
Technology partnership with IES
As part of our ongoing commitment to provide the best technical support to our customers and to ease the specification process we have partnered with IES (Integrated Environmental Solutions) to make our range of roof ventilation terminals available to model within their virtual environment platform IESVE.
Used by sustainable design consultants worldwide to improve a building’s performance, the IESVE platform is an in-depth suite of integrated analysis tools for the design and retrofit of buildings. It embeds energy and performance analysis into the design process across the entire building lifecycle.
Effective ventilation strategies can be complex so the fully integrated nature of IESVE offers specifiers invaluable data, ensuring natural ventilation solutions, like those which we provide, will work efficiently in operation.
Passivent Roof Ventilation Terminals – dedicated IES Navigator
Our range of roof terminals are now available to model as part of the latest IESVE 2024 Feature Pack 1 – an integrated suite for accurate whole building performance simulation.
See VE 2024 | IES.
This provides specifiers with a fast, streamlined and easy-to-use method of simulating the effect of these products within Virtual Environment models.
The following Passivent products are now available within the IESVE:
- Airscoop® Roof Ventilation Terminal
- Airstract® Roof Ventilation Terminal
- Airstract® iAT Roof Ventilation Terminal
- Hybrid Plus Airstract® Roof Ventilation Terminal
- Litevent Airstract® Rooflight/Ventilator
Dedicated VE Navigator
A dedicated VE Navigator has been created to guide users through a stepped process, from importing the Passivent roof terminals into the model, configuring the operation, preparing and applying to rooms, thermal simulation and compliance analysis.
