Our highly experienced commissioning and servicing team have all the necessary site clearance and qualifications to commission and/or service the installed Passivent equipment (see separate section for more information about our network of installers).

Commissioning

The Project Administrator would organise a suitable date with the customer for commissioning, often well in advance. The commissioning time may vary from one day to multiple days depending on the size of the project. The prices for the commissioning is based on a day rate and whether any overnight stays are required.

At the commissioning stage the engineer will carry out a full and comprehensive demonstration of the Passivent controls and equipment, and also associated equipment, to the client and end users.

Servicing

We highly recommend annual servicing of your equipment to ensure:

  • Your building continues to be ventilated in accordance with the required ventilation strategy.
  • The continued correct operation of your equipment
  • The long life of your equipment

Passivent offers two different service levels to suit your needs.

  • A one-off service visit.
  • A 3-year service plan.

Prior to any service visit the daily servicing rate will be quoted and payment terms agreed.

If a 3-year service plan is selected, then an agreement will be sent for you to sign before any servicing work commences.

A service generally takes one day between Monday and Friday, 9am to 5pm, but this may vary depending on the amount, and accessibility, of equipment installed. Servicing work is carried out by our specialist engineers.

Passivent’s Project Administrator would organise a suitable date with the customer for any planned service visit, often well in advance.

After the service visit, a report showing all settings is provided. Our service records are updated and a reminder for the following year is set up in our system.

Passivent 3-year service plan

This agreement includes 3 no. annual services for 3 consecutive years, and any equipment which requires replacement will receive a 20% discount on parts and labour.

Written acceptance of the terms of this 3-year agreement is required before any servicing work commences.

Please note that on some occasions access equipment may be required to carry out the service – this will be an additional cost and supplied by others.
