During 2025 we were delighted to be a part of the Maude Community Centre project and worked closely with main contractor Kent Structures on the natural ventilation strategy.
The Passivent equipment supplied included ten wall Aircools®, two Airstract® roof ventilation terminals and an iC8000 intelligent controls system to naturally ventilate this new two-storey sports pavilion and community annexe.
Kent Structures delivered a full Design & Build service, inclusive of M & E, groundworks and building construction, as well as undertaking full fit-out across the project. Implementation of Modern Methods of Construction was also key in bringing the project in on budget, combined with material choices which made the building more sustainable overall.
The building officially opened in July 2025 and now provides a new social and community hub for New Romney, including improved facilities for local sports clubs.
