We would like to introduce Amber White who works in Fabrication for Passivent at our Nottinghamshire manufacturing site. With a fantastic 9 year service history and her welding, assembly and fabrication experience there are not many Passivent products that leave the factory without Amber having been a part of them. How long have you worked for Passivent? 9 years.
What are the key aspects of your role? I started off just doing the welding but I now also assemble and fabricate parts. I would say the majority of Passivent jobs would be made, or worked on, by me at one point or another.
What is your favorite film and why? In Time – For its concept and utopian world, it makes me appreciate how little time we may have on earth and how we should value it.
I can’t get through the week without… Walking on trails at the weekend and exploring the wilderness.
As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up? I had all sorts of different ideas when growing up. One thing I wanted to do was to be a metal sculpture artist.
What TV show are you currently binge watching? I don’t watch TV.
Are you a morning person or a night owl? Definitely a night owl, I spend most weekends up in the early hours, either watching a movie or playing video games.
Have you ever met anyone famous? I’ve met Lewis Hamilton whilst visiting the McLaren Centre
Staycation or exotic holiday? Exotic holiday, I enjoy snorkeling in the sea and tasting the local cuisine.
