We were delighted to interview Maks recently as part of our series of ‘Meet the team’ interviews. Find out more here about his typical day at Passivent, what he wanted to be when he grew up and lots more.

How long have you worked for Passivent? 7 months
What are the key aspects of your role? Liaising with customers ensuring they have everything they need to progress projects, following up leads and discussing new potential projects.
What do you enjoy the most about your role? Every day presents new situations and nuances which keeps the role interesting and challenging. I find it exciting to learn about new subject areas and help customers find the most appropriate solution.
Tell us something we don’t know about you? I wear my heart on my sleeve – something my colleagues have probably realised by now 😊 During my school career, I represented my town of Boston, Lincolnshire in athletic throwing events and swimming competitions.
What is your favourite film or TV show and why? I don’t really watch a lot of TV apart from a film here and there. I mostly followed the journey of Luffy and his crew on the Grand Line as they search for One Piece. This is a short and easy to watch anime with only one season called One Piece. It focusses on a group of friends travelling together and pushing each other to improve and ultimately achieve their individual goals. I think I started watching this at the age of 11.
What’s the most interesting place you have travelled to? I travelled to quite a few places with my parents when I was younger but the most memorable, and the one where I achieved one of my dreams to see a ‘Wonder of the World’, was Chichen Itza, one of the most famous archaeological sites of the ancient Maya civilisation in Mexico.
Have you ever met anyone famous? I have not had the pleasure of meeting anyone famous, but that is probably for the best as I would totally lose composure. I know a Keanu Reaves look alike if that counts.
I can’t get through the week without… Chicken and rice as my whole office will know by now. I would probably throw some gaming in there too if time allows.
As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up? This is tough as I wanted to be so many things. I remember my mother telling me that I was adamant on becoming a scientist to save the world from pollution. I remember wanting to become a banker most of all, or what I actually meant at the time was a chartered accountant, but that’s close enough. There was also a phase where I wanted to become a librarian and be the wisest person in the land. That was a short-lived phase!
