Building Regulations Approved Document F - Ventilation

Building Regulations Approved Document F (Ventilation) has been revised by the Government as part of its initiative to make buildings more energy efficient as it strives to meet the UK's commitment to combat Climate Change.

The new regulation replaces the current simple prescriptive approach with a more detailed performance based approach. The new regulation released in conjunction with Part L (Fuel Conservation) requires much greater knowledge of the different ventilation strategies and their compliance with Part F.
