Positive Input Ventilation (PIV)

The whole house ductless system is ideal for major refurbishment where the windows and ventilation system are being replaced.

A unit fitted in the roof supplies filtered air into a dwelling via the hall or landing. This creates a slight positive air pressure, which displaces damp, stale air out via planned air paths through humidity-sensitive wall or window vents.

- Easy to install ~ requires only a single electrical installation, and does not require ducting through the interior. Minimal disruption.
- Low running costs - approximately 1p per day.
- Some energy savings compared with conventional extract systems, as the air taken from the roof space is slightly warmer than outside air.
- Time-lapse meter so landlords can see if the unit is being used as it should.
