Innovative Mixed Mode Ventilation With Mitsubishi

Natural ventilation experts Passivent have joined forces with leading air conditioning manufacturer, Mitsubishi Electric to develop a mixed mode ventilation system that combines natural ventilation with comfort cooling in a package that really does offer the best of both worlds. A joint development programme started two years ago anticipated the latest targets set out in Part L2a of the Building Regulations. The Regulations now require designers to consider reducing energy usage whilst also preventing overheating within buildings. With outdoor temperatures predicted to rise as a consequence of global warming, designers will need to utilise innovative passive designs and energy efficient technologies in order to meet these challenges.

Our Mixed Mode Ventilation development programme has brought together the latest technologies and expertise from both fields.
