iMechanical Extract Ventilation

The system uses an energy-efficient continuously-running central extract fan to simultaneously ventilate a number of ‘wet’ rooms (e.g. kitchens and bathrooms).

The extracts open and close depending on the humidity levels in the room. The fan has a humidity sensor which constantly monitors the extracted air; it is able to increase the fan speed and extraction rate to a specific room as necessary, rather than raising the extraction rate for the
whole building.

This minimises carbon emissions as much as possible.
