Airstract Roof Ventilators

Airstract Terminals are roof-mounted passive stack ventilation devices designed to allow efficient movement of air from buildings, driven only by the natural forces of wind and temperature. Manufactured from robust ABS or aluminium they are available in a wide range of designs and finishes to suit many different building designs and roof colours.

Combining high airflow capacity with low airflow resistance, Airstract Terminals are a key component in natural ventilation strategies for offices, schools, hospitals and many other commercial buildings.

Control of ventilation rate is easily achieved by incorporating motorised dampers either within passive stack ductwork or by using controllable Aircool louvres within the façade. This approach is also ideal for utilising free Night Cooling.
