Controllable Façade Louvres and Dampers

Aircool is a complete range of integrated louvres and dampers, designed to be incorporated within masonry walls and curtain walling. Their unique combination of weather louvre and insulated motorised damper means that Aircool can be used in a variety of natural ventilation strategies, even combining cross-flow ventilation with passive stack ventilation. Aircool can be used both as inlets at low level and outlets at high level thus providing a flexible approach to natural ventilation design.

The controllable damper features a new generation PVC louvre that offers excellent insulation by combining a unique profile with highly reflective strip inserts. The strips reduce the emissivity of the air space within the louvre and increases it's U value to match that of a double-glazed window.

Wall Aircool are also available in a variety of acoustic configurations e.g. with acoustic linings or optional acoustic canopies to provide attenuation of ambient noise.

Free Night Cooling

Automated Aircool façade ventilators allow the natural ventilation system to cool the fabric of the building overnight and prevent daytime overheating. Control systems can be configured to prevent over-cooling and still take advantage of the freely available night cooling.
